the lost boys
i am in love with this concept&theme. seriously lucked out in picking this one out of the hat..
but i'm at a standstill as to where to take this idea in my design work.
i can go this route with this amazing photo by samuel bradley. (i'm not quite sure why i'm completely infatuated with this one. but there's something very spectacular about it, yes?)
- slightly very sartorial but quirky
- the juxtaposition between man & nature/animals. the raw edges of it. the fur & all that.
- like sort of a proper boy who's gotten lost in the wild & in peter's adventures
orrr. i can go the militaristic, post-apocolyptic lost boy.
- very savage you know?
- & there'd be a lot of resourceful, use-what-you-can-turn-it-into-something-else types of things going on.
on one hand i very much like the whimsical first direction... but i think i can take the second concept a lot farther.
sigh.
& this is only the first of three potential collections i must do.
just wish i had a bit more time to work these ideas out.
off to contribute something to society now!
cheers
