bojagi [보자기] bicyclists

so i've finally decided on the 3rd inspiration point of which i will be (hopefully) sprouting many many fantastically unbelievably chic designs from......
bojagi bicyclista.
for those who are unfamilar (although i highly doubt i will be explaining myself to... the masses and masses that are reading my entries...... ) with the term "bojagi" or "보자기".. it is simply a large sq. cloth, like a scarf, that's used to wrap things in.. & by things i mean, clothes (namely hanboks), food, books, whatever you want. it's part of the traditional korean culture. they are constructed by geometric pieces of different colored fabrics to create a large mosaic beauty.
how i know & experienced it, is to cover food from getting cold or from the elements.

pretty isn't it?
& i absolutely love how there are wayyyy too many colors going on, but they all are in harmony. really similar the korean hanboks. so i think all the really fun colors will bring a youth and fun spirit to my bicycle-friendly collection.
so it's not necessarily bicycle-active-apparel. more like, clothes that double as  those you can easily wear while cycling around without any issues that one usually runs into (or rather, cycles into hehe.) while wearing normal clothes...

so i figure i can fuse the [geometric & patchwork-ness of the bojagi, along with other traditional korean clothing elements] with [the very american sports look]... designers are always finding ways to merge the 'east vs west' theme, so i guess this is mine.
